Open Adobe Illustrator and select a new "Web Document" should be created. A document configuration dialog box opens.

Instructions:



Adjust the size of the document to the location size to the site map. A website is generally designed 640 pixels by 400 pixels at 300 dpi (or 800 pixels by 600 pixels at 72 dpi).
Add a title to the site map in the "Name" field as the name of the site in mind. Click "OK."
Draw a rectangle on the web medium-sized document with the Rectangle tool in the toolbar at the top left of the screen. The rectangle drawn must be 12 to 16 point size, it said. Predefined leaders in the margin of the Web document can help the measurement.
Copy and paste the original rectangle for each of the sub-pages of your site. For example, if your site has a home page and additional sub-pages 10, or navigation links, there should be 11 rectangles glued to the Web document, which is 11 pages.
Select the rectangle with the selection tool, which is found in the toolbar, by clicking on them and dragging each position in the document based on the layout of the website. The first rectangle, which is the home page, is generally placed in the top center of the site map.
Place the remaining rectangles in descending order for each link that comes from the home page, navigation links, and so on. Adjusts vertical and horizontal lines can be drawn from the toolbar on the document ruler to measure more specific. The final layout of the site map will be unique to your website.
Adjust color rectangles, if desired, by selecting and using the color palette found in the toolbar.
Add the names of the site links to each of the rectangles by selecting the text tool in the toolbar and create a text box in the rectangles. Then type the name of the link in the text box.
Adjust font, color and size of text by selecting the "Type" in the top menu bar of the program and choose the preferred setting item.
Change the highlighted text and clicking "Edit" in the menu bar and selecting "Spelling" then "Check Spelling".
Add lines connecting each of the boxes to visually connect the rectangles using the straight line tool in the toolbar. A main line of the rectangle to come "Home" and then launching into more vertical lines that connect the bottom of each sub-rectangles.
Adjust the color of the lines, if you wish, with the selection tool and color palette.

Save the site plan completed to a computer or external device by going to "File" in the menu bar and selecting "Save". you're good to go!!!
